Health and Family Welfare Services, Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), in collaboration with Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, DISABILITY NGOs ALLIANCE (DNA) Voluntary Organisations and Civil Societies organized COVID-19 VACCINATION CAMP, For People with Disabilities, Caregivers, and NGO Frontline workers on 26th May 2021 in Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, HSR Layout and Samarthanm Bhavan in J.P Nagar.
Shri. Tejasvi Surya, Member of Lok Sabha, Bangalore South Constituency inaugurated the vaccine drive camp in Samarthanam Bhavan, J.P. Nagar office, Dr. V. Muniraju, Director, Dept for the Empowerment of Differently abled and Senior Citizens, Govt. of Karnataka, DR. Vaishnavi, Nodal officer BBMP and
Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar, Founder, Managing Trustee, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and President of Cricket Association for the Blind were present at the event. More than 100 PWD beneficiaries from 2 NGO’s were vaccinated.
