About Innovation & Tinker Lab (ITL)
- ITL is a concept lab that provides school students a space where they learn and innovate using technology and other resources.
- Helps to imbibe and foster 21st century skills. Existing school teachers to be empowered to use the resources and conduct sessions for students.
- ITL to help children to enhance their critical & lateral thinking, to be creative, to solve real life problems and fill in the gaps with their innovative ideas.
- ITL contains educational equipments like a 3D printer, Robotic kit with sensors, open source ARM-based embedded system, software programming languages to develop games, animations, mobile apps, artificial intelligence & Machine learning.
- 11 Tinker Labs have been installed in Bangalore, 5 Tinker Labs in Pune and 4 Tinker Labs in Thane.
Objectives of ITL
- To provide technology integrated learning space to children
- To help children imagine, conceptualize and create
- To nurture computational skills, design thinking, problem solving, physical computing and adaptive learning.
