She came to Samarthanam seeking financial help for her higher studies and looking at her eagerness to pursue education, Samarthanam readily enrolled Priyanka into Bachelor of Arts course at Surana College in Bengaluru. Throughout her academic career, she consistently secured distinction and consequently Bangalore University offered her a chance to pursue her Masters in Political Science.
