Delhi team has contributed to the social cause in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi for two days camp for DISABILITY on 24th -25th Mar-2022 in two different hospitals namely as Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital-LNJP, in Central Delhi Dist. and Pt Madanmohan Malvia Hospital-PMMH, in South Delhi Dist. of Social Welfare, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.<\/p>\n

The unique feature of this camp was to get appraised by Mr. Rajender Pal Gautam, Hon’ble Minister, Social Welfare Department, Govt. of Delhi as he has appreciated the efforts that have been made by Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled as distributed Tablet to students enrolled into their higher education.<\/p>\n

Both the Disability camps were attended by the Disability Commissioner of Delhi, Sh Ranjan Mukharji, Special Secretary of the Social Welfare Department Ms. Rashmi Singh IAS, Deputy Director, Department of Social Welfare, Chief Medical Officer of the respective hospital, etc.<\/p>\n

Services offered in camps are as follows:-
\nDistrict level officers of the Social welfare department for financial assistance\/pension-related matters.
\nHospital administration for UDID card issuance
\nDepartment of Education, for counseling and education support by Delhi Govt.
\nNorthern Railways Concession Section for railway concession certificate issuance
\nDelhi Transport Corporation for free Bus Pass
\nDM office staff for Disability ID
\nDelhi SC\/ST\/Minority\/Handicapped Financial Corporation for financial facilities<\/p>\n
