Samarthanam, a National Award-winning NGO established in 1997, commemorating its 24th Year on Feb 26th 2021, stands triumphantly to be a complete solution provider by supporting education and livelihood needs of persons with disabilities and under privileged. The impact by the organization facilitates not only the direct livelihood opportunities of hundreds of persons with disabilities and women in distress through its Social Enterprises, but also fosters the game of blind cricket and visually impaired players across India through Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), which is the cricketing arm of Samarthanam.

The fear of not being able to navigate in any environment is a major barrier to participation in normal life. With this in mind and to shelter the young disabled girls and the elderly abandoned women, and to make their lives easier, safer and more holistic, Samarthanam Bhavan a Morgan Stanley Supported Specialized Living Facility for Differently-Abled Girls and the Elderly in Bengaluru is to be launched on February 26th 2021. <\/p>\n

Kivadasannavar and his team for the noble service to the Society specifically in the field of Education, Sports, Rehab for the past 24 Years and wished Samarthanam great luck in their mission of making the Specially abled independent and Tax payers\u201d <\/p>\n

Samarthanam Bhavan \u2018s special features include lighting and paint schemes to help the visually impaired, specialized lifts and ramps, signboards to help the hearing impaired, along with carpeting and acoustic tiling. Accessible toilets, brightly colored slope edges and steps free facilities for easy recognition to make residents\u2019 life easier, safer and more holistic. The facility is designed to be a home away from home for the 100 girls and 20 elderly residents. <\/p>\n
