Swadhara is the Rehabilitation programme by Samarthanam to lend a helping hand to women in distress. Swadhara Gruh is a home for women who along with their children receive protection and vocational training, helping them recuperate and become independent. The women beneficiaries are supported at all times as their empowerment is Samarthanam’s primary motive. Health, nutrition, medical needs, food, accommodation, vocational training and counseling by experts are a few of the services provided by Swadhara.
During Covid times, Swadhara proactively has been providing its services to women beneficiaries and helping them stay safe from the pandemic by counseling on the safety guidelines, precautions to take and also measures to stay safe during the COVID season.
Currently, the project is providing assistance to women between the age of 18 years and 60 years, hailing from different parts of Karnataka including widows, women with disabilities, economically backward and those who witnessed abuse and trauma

Samarthanam’s Working Women's Hostel in Bengaluru provides secure residential facility to working women with disabilities and the underprivileged. The hostel is home for many women employed with various organizations in Karnataka and girl students pursuing higher education. The hostel receives support from the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability, Government of Karnataka.
