Mr Girish heads the initiative Parisara. He has got a vast experience in the field of recycling and waste management. He is associated with Samarthanam for the last 20 years. He nurtured the program since inception and brought awareness on the importance of source segregation to various corporate. When not at work, Mr Girish enjoys travelling to various places and involves himself in home composting and organic gardening.
Mr Balaji, has been one of the active and contributing members of the team starting from inception. Having vast experience in the marketing domain with his strong resources, Mr Balaji has been one of the important members and handles the resource development activities at Samarthanam.
Sathish, presentely coordinator of parisara looks after the recyclers and manages the vendor. He is also involved in the daily operations and sending the segregated dry waste to recyclers on a daily basis.
Shruthi, an backend executive, looks after the backend operations and collections on a daily basis. She is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of pickups.
Babu, presentely the supervisor of parisara has contributed in designing the warehouse and taking care of collection from various units. He is the point of contact for the transportation of waste. He also extends the support for waste audit. He is responsible for the paperworks for obtaining clearance for SEZ approvals and various certifications related to recycling.
Samarthanam Parisara has bagged the prestigious Green Star Award for its environment friendly activities. This was initiated by Procam International to mark the 5th Edition of TCS World 10K, which was held in May 2012.
The Award was received by G. K. Mahantesh, founder managing trustee from Sandalwood Power Star Puneet Rajkumar with a cash prize of 75,000/- .
