Mid day Meal Programme (Vidyaprasad)

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled has started mid day meal Vidyaprasad Programme

A full meal is a way to a sharper mind. India has a long way to go when it
comes to eradicating classroom hunger. With the Government launching many schemes to alleviate the situation, Samarthanam, with its Mid-day Meal Programme is making an effort to beat classroom hunger in the city of Bengaluru. Samarthanam’s Mid-day Meal Programme in India was initiated in the year 2003 focusing on not just Samarthanam School children but also many other Schools in Karnataka. While the Mid-day Meal Programme adds various benefits to school children including improved appetite, nuts., and overall well-being, it also helps in lowering the school drop-out rate. It helps children attend school regularly and also do well in their educational activities.
