Sunadha’s artistic talents reached a million viewers when the team’s performance was aired on one of the Kannada satellite channels Colors Super in their very popular dance reality show Master Dancer. The show is hosted by television personality and celebrity, Akul Balaji. The three judges of the talent show are Kannada rapper Chandan Shetty who also won the recent edition of Bigg Boss; Kannada actress, Shruti Hariharan who has starred in movies like Luciya, Tarak, Raathi, Plus, to name a few. The third judge is Natya Mayuri, Mayuri Upadhya who is an acclaimed classical dancer who conducts international dance workshops. Sunadha’s performance marked the celebratory occasion of Ugadi festival which brings in new hopes and new beginnings. The audience and the judges gave a standing ovation and overwhelming applause boosting the morals of the team. Shri Mahantesh, founder and Managing Trustee of Samarthanam also spoke following the performance where he said that talents are many among the persons with disabilities and all they require are opportunities. The group’s dance teacher, Ms. Jaylakshmi was also invited on the stage where she spoke about the challenges the teachers face and how they overcome it to train the wonderful children of Sunadha.
