Sanjeevani Vaccine Awareness Campaign

Samarthanam Trust For The Disabled in partnership with United Way India supported by Federal Bank Ltd and Network18 Group is working towards facilitating vaccinations and increasing awareness on the importance of Covid appropriate behaviour. Project Sanjeevani will fight vaccine hesitancy, alleviate apprehensions and encourage more citizens to get vaccinated.

This is the need of the hour as lack of digital connect has perpetuated misinformation about the disease and the vaccine which has resulted in individuals, especially from low-income communities, avoiding registering altogether. Sanjeevani Campaign will not only assist beneficiaries with the registration process through this campaign it will also provide transportation services for both doses, follow up for any adverse side effects and continue to promote the safety protocols in place to stop the spread of the virus.

Sanjeevani will also strengthen a number of vaccinations centres by providing protective equipment to not only safeguard healthcare workers but also all individuals using the centre. By bridging the digital divide in low-income communities, providing critical information and support through on-ground awareness campaigns such as this, our aim is to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and make these communities safer for those that reside there

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled will identify 200 villages across Dakshina Kannada under the guidance of the District Administration. Samarthanam Trust will also identify 20 Vaccination Centres with Medical equipment assistance to take forward the vaccination Drive.
