🎶 Samarthanam Sisters Debut on World Music Day – A Soulful Step Toward Inclusion 🎤
Celebrating music, talent, and the power of representation
Bengaluru | June 21, 2025 — In an inspiring celebration of World Music Day, the Samarthanam Sisters — Anusha and Vasundhara, both visually impaired and trained in Hindustani Classical music, made their debut at White Petals, Palace Grounds, captivating an audience of over 1,000 with their emotive and multilingual musical performance.
The event was graced by an illustrious lineup of dignitaries:

✨ Shri Subu Kota, Patron, Samarthanam USA
A special musical piece composed by Padma Shri Ricky Kej, 3-time Grammy Award winner, added depth to the evening’s performances, reinforcing the theme of unity through music.

The event also marked the launch of Samarthanam’s global initiative — #MusicForInclusion, a campaign using music to promote disability rights, inclusive representation, and global equity. The international tour kicks off in the USA this July, invited by philanthropist Shri Subu Kota.
