Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled nailed it at Samarthanam Sambrama! Dr Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, Founder Trustee, kick-started the event, and we were honoured to have Smt. Latha Kumari K S. IAS, CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Bangalore Urban; Shri Das Suryavamshi, Commissioner for Persons with Disability Act, Shri Nataraj, Joint Director, Directorate for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens; Shri M. Sivarama Prasad, Joint General Manager (ATC), Airport Authority of India (AAI), Bengaluru; Ms. Mamatha; and our trustees Ms. Vasanti Savanur, Uday Kumar Y. Bagunavar, and Buse Gowda S. as guests of honor.
The morning performances by our Intellectually Disabled Children, Primary School students, and Hearing Impaired School children and team Sunadha were truly heartwarming.
We also awarded the Decade of Dedication Award, the 2-decade Award, the Best Support Award, the Synergy Award, the Vendor Appreciation Award, the Healthcare Accessibility Advocate Award and the Employer of Diversity Award to those who have helped us reach this milestone.
In the evening celebrations We are honoured to have Dr. Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar (Founder Trustee at Samarthanam), along with Pavan Wadeyar, Indian film director, screenwriter, lyricist, actor and producer and Dr. H.S. Natraj Setty, MBBS, MD, DM, FICC, FACC, FSCAI, FRCP(G), FRCP(E) Professor (Associate) of Cardiology at Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research Bangalore as guests of honour.
The Sunadha team and Associates of Samarthanam Trust added a cultural touch with music, folk dance, and comedy shows. Samarthanam Trust honoured deserving employees across its various verticals with the Best Performer awards and presented special Samarthanam awards to deserving recipients
