Samarthanam LRC, Chennai celebrates its First-year Anniversary on the 16th May’2018
A year-old nostalgia and good times with well-known dignitaries marked the celebration of the very first anniversary of Samarthanam Livelihood Center. After the Tamil Thai Vaazhthu, Shri PVK Srinivas, Regional Head, Microsoft Programme spearheaded the event by delivering the welcome note and by orchestrating the felicitation ceremony of the guests. This was followed by reading out of the year’s worth of accomplishments presented in a well-drafted report by Mr. Sundar Rasu C, Center Manager, LRC, Chennai.

All the cherished guests who also are the well-wishers of Samarthanam shared their thoughts on the fast-paced development of the Chennai center along with the progress of Samarthanam and its activities and other initiatives.
Celebrations are incomplete without the cultural programmes. The beneficiaries of the LRC center staged heartwarming cultural performances which enhanced the grace further glorifying the assembly. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony recognizing the winners and runners of sports and cultural events. Batch IV LRC beneficiaries were awarded their convocation certificates while their friends and faculties cheered to express their joy and merriment. Mr. Edwin Charles, Mobilizer, Chennai center gave the vote of thanks on behalf of Samarthanam fraternity marking the epilogue of the first year anniversary celebration.
