Samarthanam Celebrates World Health Day

“Building a fairer & healthier world” being the theme of World Health Day on April 7th this year, Samarthanam celebrated this day in its own special way by distributing 25 ICU beds to Chickballapur District Health Department. The District Commissioner Ms Latha, Dr Indira DHO along with other Department Health officials were present on this occasion.

This CSR initiative was made possible with the support from Societe Generale. Mr Sudhin Mathew Head Corporate Citizenship of Soc Gen present on this occasion spoke on the importance of health especially after the corona virus pandemic.

Chickballapur Health Department thanked Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and Soc Gen for the ICU Beds provided which was a true blessing at this critical juncture.

Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar said” Samarthanam Trust has been proactively involved in contributing its best to the society to fight the odds against Covid 19 with the support of corporates who have been major contributors through their CSR”

He added “The World Health Day is a great opportunity for us to sensitize more and more people around us to resort to healthier lifestyles and build a better immune system”.
