Consequently, various corporate firms, organizations and companies from diverse sectors associate with Samarthanam Trust on multiple avenues. Samarthanam’s one of the primary initiatives involves providing education to children with disabilities and economically underprivileged. For stationing residential schools at various levels, equipping them with necessary infrastructure and accessories, many corporate companies come forward with monetary assistance and support. Companies from multiple sectors have been providing patronage for uninterrupted running of these schools. Alongside, the making of barrier-free residential school at HSR Layout garnered appreciation and funding from the corporate world as well. The barrier-free school aims at sheltering 700 students with disabilities. Samarthanam seeks further support from corporate entities in successfully accomplishing the building project.

Many corporate firms extended a helping hand in the establishment of Livelihood Resource Centres by Samarthanam, which provide technical and sector based skill training to youth with disabilities and from underserved backgrounds.

Corporate involvement at Samarthanam also finds its importance in hiring candidates from the ten LRCs of Samarthanam. Trained candidates from LRCs have been placed in companies from diverse verticals. Volunteers from corporates and the special placement cell by Samarthanam aid in finding suitable job opportunities through job fairs and workshops regularly conducted at various centres. The placement team finds suitable employment to the outgoing students from the various initiatives and skill development projects of Samarthanam.

Individuals from the corporate world bring in their expertise in areas of tutoring, communication and blending with society through various volunteering opportunities at our schools and other events. The social responsibility as an individual is highlighted through their participation.

Samarthanam receives support from many corporates including Citi Bank, Microsoft, Adobe, GKN Aerospace, Juniper, Target International, Mahindra, 3M, Deloitte, ANZ, IndusInd, Wipro, Morgan Stanley, VMware, Ciber, SanDisk, Intel, HP, Amadeus and others. Samarthanam looks forward to supporting the initiatives under CSR in the areas of education, skilling, rehabilitation and sports.
