Samarthanam Trust – Oxygen Concentrators Distribution During Covid
Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled gearing up to be the voice of people who are affected by the second wave, has always something unique to offer for impacting the lives of many in need.
With the support of Family and Friends of India and Lions Club of Bangalore Pride, Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, seeing the need of the hour for massive shortage of oxygen and beds leading to deaths in hospitals, stationed its school bus in Gundulpet Taluka General Hospital in Chamrajnagar with 8 Oxygen Concentrators for distribution.
This initiative was flagged off today in Chamrajnagar City in the august presence of the Hon’ble Minister Shri S. Suresh Kumar, Minister of Primary & Secondary Education Minister in Charge of Chamraj Nagar, Deputy Commissioner of Chamrajnagar Dr. M.R. Ravi, and Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar Founder Managing Trustee Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled.
Samarthanam, as a responsible organization for Societal welfare kept its COVID Relief Campaign active all through the year by distributing Dry ration, PPE, Health kits, RtPCR, Masks, Sanitizers, and other medical needs which were given away to people in dire need.

Speaking today Dr. Mahantesh G. Kivadasannavar said “With the second wave and its ongoing crises we at Samarthanam realized it’s time to act and give free oxygen concentrators to patient’s especially in rural areas who need help at home. Our idea is to help patients at home and save beds in hospitals for the severely affected patients. We want this campaign to spread with a lot of Societal support for massive impact”
