Placing the trained beneficiaries with a Target as per the Project Needs |
|
Essential Functions |
– To develop contacts with local employers to develop opportunities for placing the trainees ● Minimum 5 New companies to be identified in a Month to check for the requirements ● Follow Up with Minimum 5 existing companies in a Month to check for the requirements |

– To support the PWDs to gain and improve their employability skills through running job search sessions, including CV and application preparation and interview techniques ● Guide the trainees in preparing the Resumes (For all the Candidates under the Training in a Batch before the 1st Week of 2nd Month) ● Guide the trainees in applying and registering for Jobs in the Job Portal (For all the Candidates under the Training in a Batch from the 2nd Month of Training) |

– To offer a wide range of employment and training advice, including career and benefits advice to empower the PWDs about employment opportunities ● Conduct minimum 2 Placement Session in a Month for Trainees and explain about the requirements identified and available & the expectation from the Employers ● Conduct Placement Assessment & Mock Interviews to check the level of the Trainees (1 in 1st Month, 2 in 2nd Month & 3 in 3rd Month) ● Job Mapping & scheduling Interviews for the identified requirements according to the Employer Requirements & Trainees Standard (Based on Education, Disability & Technical Skills) ● Facilitating & guiding the Trainees for attending the Interviews on the scheduled time & date ● Organize & conduct Job Fair once in every 6 Months |

– To monitor individuals placed into employment or work placement to identify any issues/training requirements and support them in appropriate ways to help them into sustainable employment ● Follow up with the Employer on the status of the shortlisted candidates for Employment & facilitate in Joining formalities and collecting the offer letters ● Follow up with the placed candidates and their respective employers on the challenges and performance at the end of their Month of Placement (Maintain a record for the same and update the same on monthly basis) and arrange for alternative placements (If needed) |

– Ensure that work placement opportunities are circulated quickly ensuring that information technology (emails, web pages etc.) is utilized effectively to assist with achieving best possible performance for meeting employer requirements ● Circulate the requirements immediately with different Centers and other source to identify the candidate to meet the Employer requirements (If enough/no candidates are met the requirements of the employer in the particular center) |

– To liaise with employers to ensure any candidates placed are properly supported and support employers in preparing training/career plans for individuals ● Providing Technical Support (Accessibility, Employer Sensitization etc) in placing PwD’s to the employer |

– To maintain monitoring systems using the MIS (Management Information System) database & To keep accurate electronic and paper records to meet funding requirements ● Update all the collected Employer information & Employer requirements in the Placement Drive at the end of every month ● Maintain & upload the Resumes (Batch wise) in the Placement Drive at the end of first month of training ● Maintain success stories for all the placed candidates along with their working photos at the end of every month for the placed candidates during the previous month ● File & Upload all the collected offer letters, Success stories & Working Photos at the end of every month |

Skills Needed |
● Fluent English Communication-verbal and written. ● Reasonable insights in Management & Economics ● Awareness of industrial clusters in terms of sectors, locations. ● Ability to develop sound, credible reciprocal relations with industry. ● Effective paraphrase of industry’ need. ● A good PR, liaison and relationship building. ● Sound and rich frame of reference skills. ● Having of positive attitude, proactive nature and strong optimism. |
