The World Champion Indian Women’s Cricket Team for the Blind was felicitated by Shri Siddaramaiah, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, in recognition of their historic win at the Women’s T20 World Cup Cricket for the Blind 2025.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister also announced ₹10 lakhs each for the three Karnataka players, ₹2 lakhs each for players from other states, and government job opportunities for Karnataka players, marking a significant step toward supporting para-athletes and promoting inclusion in sports.
