Dr. Mahantesh G Kivadasannavar, the visionary behind the Samarthanam Trust; Chairman of Cricket Association for the Blind in India and the accomplished gold- winners (IBSA Games) of the Karnataka-based Women Indian blind cricket team players Ms. Varsha, Ms. Deepika and Ms. Gangavva and Silver-Winners (IBSA Games) of the Karnataka-based Men Indian blind cricket team players Mr. Prakash, Mr. Sunil Kumar and Mr. Bassappa received a special honour from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
