“Kirana” is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) centre established at Bidadi in Southern Karnataka, whose objective is to provide employment to the youth from rural areas. The project, initiated in 2011, is supported by Government of Karnataka. The centre accommodates 100 employees, 70% of whom are people with disabilities. The state-of-the-art BPO centre is equipped with accessible infrastructure, technology and resources on par with the industry’s best.



The Resource Centres are equipped with accessible infrastructure to support persons with cross disabilities including ramps, wheelchairs, railings (for persons with physical disabilities), JAWS software, Braille and audio books (for persons with visual disabilities), signs and boards (for persons with hearing impairments).


Kirana, supported by KBITS, Hewlett Packard and TE Connectivity offers the following key services:
